The gift of a Garden Share gives her the "OK" to pick-up flowers when she wants them. TGW offers "Garden Shares" of our cutting garden.
Each share is valued for $100 of flowers.
When purchased as a gift we provide a gift card.
Garden Share members pick-up flowers at will, no need to come every week if you don't want to.
We are commercial cut-flower farmers located in Newport News, VA offering to those customers that would like the opportunity to come to our garden to pick-up their flowers before they are offered to the public.
Garden Shares may also be redeemed at the Farmer's Markets we attend; Yorktown on Saturday mornings and the Mid-Week Market at Port Warwick in Newport News. See the Events Calendar for details.
Our garden is not open to the public and only Garden Share members are invited to the garden for pick-up.
Often times if there are limited numbers of a certain flower variety or color, these flowers never make it to the Farmer's Markets because Garden Share members have the first choice of our flowers. This is why it is affectionately called the "First Dibs Club".
We grow a variety of proven "cut" flowers, some available for several weeks or months and others only a week or two.
Our flowers have a long vase life and you will find varieties not readily available anywhere else.
Customer satisfaction is fully guaranteed.
The season is usually mid-May through September. Weather conditions are a factor.
Shares are an excellent gift that gives all summer long!
Any share balance remaining at the end of a season is carried over to the next year.
Garden pick-up of flowers is only available to Garden Share members.
Garden Shares are redeemable towards cut flowers only, not merchandise.
Flower pick-ups are on Friday mornings from TGW (in the Denbigh section of Newport News, Virginia), 9am till 12 noon.
Come as often as you like.
You choose from an assortment of available flowers, priced either as a bunch or as individual stems.
Flowers are harvested and conditioned when you arrive.
A nice mix of flowers is usually $15 to $20.
Shares are $100 each including sales tax, minimum purchase is one full share.
Shares purchased pre-season have an additional bonus:
Shares purchased between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31 will receive $120 worth of flowers for the $100 share (includes sales tax).
Shares purchased between Jan. 1 and April 1 will receive $110 worth of flowers for the $100 share (includes sales tax).
No limit on number of Shares purchased.
You receive a Share card that works like a gift card.
Limited number of Shares available. Shares are closed when sold-out for the season.
